Brendan Wyatt

Dancer
Brendan Wyatt has been described as having "a maturity that belies his youth" (National Post), "a presence that defies the audience to take their eyes off him" (Georgia Straight) and "ultra talented" (Toronto Star.) He is without a doubt of one of the upcoming super stars of contemporary dance.

Brendan Wyatt was a scholarship student at Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, and performed in Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet's Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.

In 1997 Brendan Wyatt created and taught an interactive dance program for visually challenged students with the cooperation of the CNIB.

As independent artist Brendan Wyatt worked for Dusk Dances, Dance Anonymous (New York), and for choreographers DA Hoskins, Peter Chin, William Yong. He performed across Canada with Pro Arte Danza, DA Hoskins, Karen Jamieson, Trish Beatty and Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers among others.

Brendan Wyatt has been dancing with The Chimera Project since 2004. He has been part of the creation process of Drawing the Line or The Hidden Spot (2004), Crossroads (2005), You're It (2005), Keep All Sharp Objects Out Of My Way (2006), The Hidden Spot (2008), and Blood (2009).
